Same Day Emergency Care

If you have tooth pain, gum swelling, a broken tooth, or a knocked-out tooth, call us right away. Acting quickly often improves the outcome such as limiting the spread of infection and increasing the chance of saving the tooth. We will guide you on what to do and help you get seen as soon as possible. If you have trouble breathing, heavy bleeding, or swelling that affects swallowing, go to the ER or call 911.

Root Canal Therapy

A root canal is a dental procedure that removes infected or dead nerve tissue and bacteria from the pulp of a tooth, then cleans, fills and seals the inside of the tooth to save it from extraction. Signs you might need a root canal need a root canal include tooth sensitivity, pain when chewing, swollen or dark gums, or chipped teeth.   • Teeth cleaning is a professional dental procedure that removes plaque and tartar that cannot be removed by daily brushing and flossing. Services include coronal polishing, periodontal maintenance and deep cleaning through scaling and root planing. Regular cleanings help prevent gum disease and decay.

  • A dental crown, often referred to as “caps”, is a custom-made cover placed over damaged or weakened teeth.  The purpose of a crown is to restore the tooth to its natural appearance and chewing ability, and strengthen the tooth that has been weakened by decay or trauma. Using CEREC technology, our crowns are custom made in one day. Benefits include convenience, no temporary crown, comfortable digital impressions, natural-looking tooth, and durable results.

  • A CEREC crown is a custom dental crown made from ceramic in a single dental visit using computer-aided design and manufacturing (CAD/CAM) technology. The process involves scanning a prepared tooth onto a computer to make a digital 3D image, using software to design a crown, and transferring the data to a milling unit that carves out a crown from a ceramic block in the dental office. Benefits include convenience, no temporary crown, comfortable digital impressions, natural-looking toot, and durable results.

  • A dental filling is a procedure where decayed or damaged tooth structure is removed and replaced with a material to restore the tooth’s function and structure. Tooth colored composite of various shaded is used to closely match the color of your natural teeth.

  • A tooth extraction is the removal of a tooth from its socket in the jawbone. After anesthetizing the patient, the tooth is loosened using an elevator, followed by dislocation and removal with a dental forceps. For complex tooth extraction, an incision is made into the gums, bone is removed, and the tooth is divided into pieces before removal of the roots entirely. Reasons why a tooth extraction may be necessary include severe tooth decay, advanced periodontal disease, impacted wisdom teeth, orthodontic treatment, fractured or damaged teeth, infection, and failed dental work.

  • Nitrous oxide, or “laughing gas”, is a mild sedation used during dental procedures to reduce anxiety and manage pain by inducing relaxation. The patient remains conscious and can respond to verbal commands. This is the safest form of sedation and the effects after use wear off within minutes.

  • An occlusal splint, or night guard is a custom fit removable appliance that fits over the upper or lower teeth. It helps prevent damage to your teeth that can be caused by grinding and clenching, which can wear down enamel and cause jaw pain. It works by creating a physical barrier that prevents the upper and lower teeth from making direct contact, which shields them from damage and reduces pressure on the jaw’s temporomandibular joint (TMJ). It can also relieve associated pain and headaches.

  • A Complete or Partial Denture is a removable prosthetic device that replaces missing or damaged teeth, as well as the surrounding gums. A complete denture is used when all the teeth are missing. A partial denture replaces one or more missing teeth. The advantages of Dentures include restoring your smile, teeth can be added to an existing partial denture if more teeth are lost in the future, and they can be the most cost-effective solution to missing teeth.

  • Teeth whitening is a cosmetic dental procedure to lighten the color of teeth. It involves the use of bleaching agents. We provide custom trays and prescription strength whitening gel designed for effective results and easy maintenance. Please note, whitening does not change the color of existing fillings, veneers, or crowns.

  • Implant crown restoration is the final stage of a dental implant process, where a custom-made crown is attached to the abutment (a connector) on top of the titanium implant post, which is surgically placed in the jawbone. The process restores the tooth’s function and appearance, allowing the patient to bite and chew normally. The restoration typically involves removing the healing abutment, fitting the crown, and securing it with cement or a screw, followed by minor adjustments to ensure proper fit and bite.

  • Dental Veneers are thin restorations designed to improve tooth color shape, spacing and overall symmetry while preserving as much natural tooth structure as possible.
